Royal New Kent Golf Club, crafted by the legendary golf course architect Mike Strantz, stands as a remarkable Irish Links Style course on mainland United States soil that opened in 1997. Recognized with Golf Digest's prestigious "100 Greatest Courses" accolade, Royal New Kent embodies the essence of Invicta, the County of Kent, England's motto, meaning undefeated or unconquered. With its sprawling 7,440 yards of windswept terrain, the course challenges golfers with its intricate design, featuring 105 strategically placed bunkers and expansive Champions Bermuda greens.  After closing for a short time, a contingent of local investors plus principles of Wingfield Golf purchased RNK in 2018.  The team regrassed the Bermudagrass greens and rebuilt many of the bunkers which led to the course winning an award for Best Renovation of the Year in 2020 by Golf Inc. Magazine.  Reminiscent of Ireland's iconic links courses like Royal County Down and Ballybunion, Royal New Kent promises a golfing experience like no other. Strantz's innovative and artistic approach to course design ensures that each hole presents a unique and memorable challenge, making Royal New Kent a must-play destination for golf enthusiasts.
